Role Overview: We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Executive with at least 1 year of full-time industry experience in PR, ideally within an agency environment. You'll work closely with your Account Manager and Account Director to help deliver impactful campaigns across media relations, influencer outreach, content creation and events. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills, gain exposure to high-profile clients, and work alongside a talented and supportive team.

You will bring initiative, a passion for storytelling, strong writing skills and an eagerness to build relationships with media and influencers. You'll be involved in a variety of activities from day one — including media pitching, coverage tracking, event support and research — while learning how to deliver strategic, results-driven PR campaigns for clients in the lifestyle, food, beverage and health sectors.

Our client base includes an array of iconic brands such as Heineken, Cointreau, Licor 43, Glen Moray Whisky, Edinburgh Gin, Moccona, L'OR, as well as lifestyle and health brands including Tinybeans, Sven's Island, and Crohn's & Colitis Australia.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of public relations experience, ideally within an agency
• A relevant degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Australian media and influencer landscape
• Proficiency in writing media materials such as media releases and pitches
• A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced team

Core Responsibilities

Client Support & Campaign Delivery

• Conduct media and influencer research to support client campaigns
• Draft high-quality media releases, pitches, bios and other materials
• Track media coverage and prepare client reports and updates
• Assist in preparing and updating campaign plans, WIP documents and timelines
• Attend and contribute to client meetings and take minutes as required
• Support in compiling coverage, case studies and end-of-campaign reporting

Media & Influencer Relations

• Build media and influencer lists relevant to client sectors
• Pitch story ideas and angles to media with guidance and support
• Follow up with media and influencers to help secure coverage and content
• Monitor media for breaking news, trends and client opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with junior to mid-tier media and influencers

Event Support

• Assist in planning and executing media and influencer events
• Coordinate RSVPs, gift bags, run sheets and event logistics
• Provide hands-on support during events to ensure smooth delivery
• Help source venues, suppliers, talent and theming ideas
