APS6 Senior Compliance position. 12-month non-ongoing contract in Federal Government

**Your new company**
T his Government Department is working at the forefront of delivering a high level of policies and programs to the public contributing to their health and well-being. Currently they have a need for a high performing APS6 Compliance Officer to help support a robust compliance framework.

**Your new role**
This section is responsible for the compliance, data and reporting related to the Australia Governments Covid-19 vaccine program. This role offers the opportunity to join a forward thinking and progressive team. You will play a crucial part in building and maintaining positive and professional partnerships with key stakeholders, including health professionals and practice staff, Primary and Public Health Units and Services Australia.

This role will see you preparing and contributing to a range of written material, including executive briefs, ministerial correspondence, meeting minutes and requests for advice. You will be required to show leadership skills and manage the performance and work outputs of junior team members.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will be a high-performing individual with the ability to assess compliance risk; as well as this, you will have experience in:

- Government writing, including the ability to develop high level briefs, and general correspondence.
- Ability to identify and effectively address performance issues.
- High levels of organisation with the proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to a positive team environment and;
- High level written communication skills.
