**About the directorate**

Working With Children Check Operations is the largest workgroup within the Office of the Children's Guardian, comprised of Customer Service, Records Review and Risk Assessment teams. Together, we administer the Working with Children Check function.
**About the role**

We are seeking a motivated and resilient person to:

- Liaise with applicants to explain the risk assessment process and obtain additional information to support the risk assessment and appeals processes.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience in assessment and management of risk in relation to child protection matters or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and review assessments.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge and workplace experience.
- All roles associated with the Office of the Children's Guardian are required to have a current NSW Working with Children Check.
