**The Role**
The Conciliator and Early Resolution Officer is responsible for resolving complaints primarily using conciliation but also a suite of other early intervention tools. The occupant contributes to the informal resolution of complaints arising from either _Ombudsman Act 1979_, _Community Services (Complaints, Reviews and Monitoring) Act 1993_ and/or _Public Interest Disclosure Act 2022_, in a manner that is consistent with dispute resolution best practice and is reflective of the role and function of the office.**
**About you**
We are looking for an experienced dispute resolution specialist with a strong understanding of the principles of conciliation and a commitment to helping parties to resolve complaints in an accessible, informal, trauma-informed and culturally safe manner. Conciliation or mediation experience in a statutory environment is desirable.
