We are looking for an experienced Workplace Optimisation Manager to lead our Country Road Group (CRG) Workforce Optimisation team and drive effective use of our planning and time attendance system (Dayforce).

The Workplace Optimisation Manager will partner with Retail leaders, our People, Payroll & Finance teams to support strategic decision-making and enhance our rostering processes. You will provide effective labour reporting and implement initiatives aimed at optimising labour expenditure and improving efficiency across our house of brands at CRG.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- **Strategic Workforce Planning**: Lead the team in managing the Dayforce system to ensure compliance with industrial scheduling rules and payroll requirements.
- **Labour Reporting**: Develop and implement effective labour reporting mechanisms that provide insights into workforce performance and expenditure.
- **Strategic Initiatives**: Identify opportunities to optimise labour costs and improve operational efficiency through data analysis and process improvements.
- **Collaboration**: Act as a key partner to the CRG Retail business, supporting strategic decision-making and aligning rostering practices with business objectives.
- **Training & Development**: Provide training and support to teams on the effective use of the workforce planning and time attendance system.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and enhancing scheduling practices and reporting processes.

**What you will bring**:

- Strong understanding of workforce management principles and practices including rostering & scheduling, time & attendance, budgeting, forecasting and analytics.
- Experience with Dayforce or other Workforce Management Systems within a large-scale environment (ideally retail).
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and scheduling rules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
