**The Role**
As the Military Targeting Requirements and Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for a assisting in the coordination of considerable levels and volumes of stakeholder engagement, and will liaise with a broad range of stakeholders in relation to complex, difficult and sensitive issues associated with Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) support to the Defence Targeting Enterprise.
You will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve Directorate, Branch, Division and Defence outcomes.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. **About our Team**
- Your work will allow the GEOINT Support to Defence Directorate to provide prime and pivotal advice in enhancing AGO’s support to the Defence Targeting Enterprise.
- You will help inform decision making, and research and prepare strategic policy advice on diverse and complex strategic and operational matters.
- You will help the Directorate prepare and plan for domestic and international visits, stakeholder engagements, and assist coordination of conferences and meetings that facilitate AGO’s Targeting Support initiatives.
This position will suit creative individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a strategic outlook, sound judgment, and a demonstrated ability to author and edit high-level products.
This position will play a vital role in enabling Defence and AGO to develop and implement targeting capability as outlined in the Defence Strategic Review.
