**The Role**
The Cyberworthiness Engagement Officer role is to support the implementation of the Defence Cyberworthiness System within the Cyber Assessment and Authorisation Directorate within Cyber Warfare Division. You will be responsible for engaging and communicating with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes, support delivery of procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities, performing a secretariat function through coordinating the Cyberworthiness Working Group and Community of Interest.

You will be accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complete quality assurance work within an integrated workforce. Your attention to detail, critical thinking skills, ability to build productive relationships and interest in continuous improvement will see you succeed in this role. As part of the Cyberworthiness Operations Team, you will have a unique opportunity to positively contribute to the strategic shaping of Defence Cyberworthiness Coordination Office function.

**About our Team**
The Cyber Assessment and Authorisation Directorate within Cyber Warfare Division is responsible for assessing the cyber security risks and providing assurance for the Cyber Domain. A priority initiative in the Directorate is the development and implementation of the ‘Defence Cyberworthiness System’ designed to assess the cyberworthiness maturity level of ADF networks, systems and platforms in order to quantify and identify cyber related threats to ADF capability. Cyber Warfare Division is a mix of APS, ADF and contracted personnel, who work together in a One Defence mindset to support the war fighter and Defence outcomes.

As the APS 5 Cyberworthiness Engagement Officer you will be a team player with governance and/or assurance background, an eagerness to learn, detail orientated and be able to prioritise tasks. Your role includes:

- Supporting delivery of procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities.
- Building and sustaining relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Reviewing and clarifying data and information, provide input into the preparation of written submissions, briefs, inquiry outcomes, corporate reports, minutes and other correspondence for Defence and external stakeholders.
- Seeking clarity and understand the reasons for decisions and recommendations and explain to others how they are relevant to the work being undertaken.
- Assessing and prioritising governance activities and tasks and progressing work to meet business objectives.
