About the role

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator role is an opportunity for a communications professional to develop their skills in digital marketing, social media and website content management. This role works closely with the Digital Producer, as well as collaborating with the wider team to plan, produce and publish content across Red Room Poetry’s digital channels including website, EDM, social media, YouTube and podcasting.

Underpinning this role is effective communication, a collaborative spirit and flexible working style, strong time management and planning skills as well as the ability to generate ideas for reaching key target audiences.

The opportunity will suit a creative self-starter with proven experience within the Australian arts and culture sector. They will have initiative, creative problem-solving, passion for poetry, literature and creative learning, excellent communication skills, eye for detail and be a dedicated individual with a passion for project delivery.
