Marketing & Communications Coordinator

**About the role**
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager(s) and the wider marketing and admissions team in the execution and evaluation of marketing strategies that contribute to growth of student enrolments at La Trobe University Sydney Campus and La Trobe College Australia.
A key focus of this role will be assisting team members with communication tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested to drive increased student enrolments from designated regions. This will be achieved through the development of appropriate marketing materials, digital campaigns, ongoing coordination with the Digital and Design teams based on market requirements. Some attendance at recruitment events, inclusive of enquiry and conversion activities may be required.
**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:
- Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Digital, PR, Marketing or Communications or a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively utilise various promotional media across various channels including print, video, web technologies and/ or radio to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
- Copy writing, design and editing skills, including sense of accuracy and attention to detail, and an understanding of design and publishing processes
- Well-developed interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with developing and managing social media platforms
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and constructively within a team
- Experience with customer relationship management software (ideally Sales Force)
**Desirable**
- Some experience with research methods using data analytics software
- Some expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns
- Experience in event organising and project management
- Experience in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to be flexible with workhours and have the ability to travel within Australia or overseas with some outside normal office hours when required
