One of Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations are seeking to appoint a passionate Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join their collaborative team.
Reporting to the Director Communications and Marketing, this position sits within the Communications and Marketing team and is a key role responsible for coordinating, curating and creating social media content, as well as producing a variety of internal and external direct in line with the strategic direction of the organisation.This position will also ensure internal and external communication objectives are achieved.

**You will**:

- Work closely with teams across the organisation with social media and event advertising requirements
- Work with the Internal Communications specialist to develop the yearly communication calendar
- Monitor, manage and control the communication calendar ensuring all content is up to date, in line with strategic direction of the organisation and sent as per schedule
- Manage and curate content across all social media platforms to maintain the organisations online reputation and footprint
- Create and curate communications content (online and print) to promote the positive image of the organisation
- Oversee website updates and changes
- Monitor and manage media mentions and reporting, providing regular updates to the Director of Communications and Marketing
- Working with the Marketing team in relation to all published web and print materials and primary social media channels, ensuring the content is promoting a positive image of the organisation
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders both internal and external
- Act as brand guardian working across all internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency of message and strategy
- Assist with general and ad hoc communication and marketing tasks and projects as needed
- Act as a first point of contact for communications and marketing queries

**You will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field, including communication, journalism, media studies or marketing
- Previous experience working in a similar communications, marketing or social media role
- Current or recent experience in a digital content, web content or website coordinator role
- Demonstrated content creation, web design and web maintenance and graphic design skills
- Strong understanding of web-based design technologies
- Excellent communication skills; strong relationship builder able to manage internal and external stakeholders
- High level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills
- Exposure to the Meltwater media monitoring platform
- Experience using online tools such as Canvam HTML, CMS, EDM and web analytics skills
- Previous exposure working in a not-for-profit organisation or government will be highly regarded
