**The Opportunity**

As a **Technical Officer** at our **Hemmant** site, you will play a key role in ensuring our product quality meets the highest standards. Reporting to the **Technical Manager**, you will focus on quality assurance activities, compliance, continuous improvement, training, and providing technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

**What You’ll Do**
- Ensure compliance with Visy safety systems and processes.
- Investigate internal and external quality complaints, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Conduct internal product audits and quality/food safety inspections.
- Conduct product and material testing as per schedule.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with sales and operations teams.
- Maintain and improve HACCP, ISO, and other national quality standards.
- Provide quality training for operations teams and ensure compliance with best practices.

**What You Will Bring**
- Exposure to management systems such as FSSC2200, HACCP, and ISO9001.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous manufacturing or packaging industry experience is desirable.
