The purpose of the Technical Services Officer is to assist divisional staff in the preparation of high-quality Geographic Information System work, and the reproduction of technical products for inclusion in Policy, Planning and Investment projects. The role is also responsible for the provision of efficient and effective technical support to the Corridor Protection Services Team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Provide GIS, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and support to PPI staff.
- Analyse and interpret GIS data to support staff and clients on GIS matters, and prepare quality supporting reports, documentation and presentations (using paper and digital mapping products).
- Develop and maintain networks with colleagues and clients, facilitating the development of innovative solutions to work related issues.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- Proficiency using GIS, Computer-Aided Design and/or drafting software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfoand AutoCAD.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
