Are you a drafting professional with a passion for project excellence? Join Sunwater as a Technical Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in providing high quality CAD and GIS engineering drafting services, as well as develop new industry leading skills as Sunwater transitions from a predominantly 2D paper drawing based presentation environment, to an evolving one of digital engineering (with BIM focus). You will deliver modelling and drafting support services for engineering design and investigation projects by optimising the development of accurate and effective digital models utilising rapidly evolving technologies.

As a Technical Officer at Sunwater, you will:

- Collaborate closely with engineers and others to produce reliable, cost-effective project concepts and designs, by managing digitally based asset presentation and visualisation processes (2D, 3D, VR), and enabling the efficient dissemination of such information.
- Perform checks and reviews of drafting outputs, including digital models and drawings produced by the team and, where satisfied, formally sign output review documents.

We are seeking a talented individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Technical Officer or Design Drafter. You will hold an associate degree in Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution or recognised equivalent. You will also bring:

- **Software experience**: Proven experience using AutoCAD and Civil3d.
- **Digital engineering**:Ability to capture Digital Information data, manipulate and present in a 3D environment.
- **Communication skills**: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
