Our client is a leading technology partner for cloud-based software and has implemented multiple cloud solutions for over 600+ organizations in APAC. They have guided companies and businesses in the IT space and make a effort to help build and grow businesses to success.
The client is looking for a
**Channel Manager**. The role will be responsible for managing and increasing referrals and sales opportunity through channel. You will report to the Chief Growth Office and will be responsible for creating, managing, and continuously improving the channel partner’s sales and delivery capability. You will work with channel partners, internal teams, and customers to drive long-term subscription revenue.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify key referral and strategic Channel Partnerships within Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, and wider Asia Pacific
- Recruit and training partners to be active in referral generation within 60 days of sign-up
- Obtain, qualify, nature and align with sales teams on prospect (customer) referrals from partners
- Work with the Marketing team on conference and event opportunities, sponsorship ventures, etc. to identify cross selling and lead generation opportunities
- Work as an Account Manager after the customer win to monitor and manage the customer relationship where customer comes from partner referrals
- Work with the management team to develop a strategy to produce penetration of business' services into appropriate market segments
- Develop, maintain, and execute the training plan for Channel Partners
- Deliver monthly reporting on Channel and Direct activity, opportunities, revenue and plans for the preceding month/quarter
- 3+ year experience with partner & channel track record with cloud, SaaS and/or ERP solutions
- Familiar with solution selling methodology and uncovering customer business issues
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Results driven and self-motivated to achieve sales target
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent skills with IT Applications (i.e., Microsoft Business Applications, Zoom Remote, Communications and Dropbox)
- Confidence, tenacity and resilience to cold call and visit new prospective Partners / Clients
- Exemplary work ethic, punctual and reliable.
- Proactive approach to customers
- Degree or Masters in a Technology or Business-related discipline (ideal)
- Assertive, proactive, driven to succeed and disciplined
