As Production Coordinator, you will work closely with buying, design, logistics and supply chain to ensure the smooth running of your area with direct accountability for entry margin achievement and timely stock flow into warehouse. You will build and foster strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating resilience and agility when problem solving, always driving outcomes to business benefit.

Key responsibilities include securing the best price and delivery from our suppliers, ensuring that orders are placed on time to facilitate on-time release of goods, and full end-to-end management of key core flow lines to drive sales and gross profit.

You will effectively lead and support a happy and productive team environment and sharing your experience and knowledge with the team. You will become an expert within Alphabet Soup and SurfStich kids. You will work closely with the head of department to action department projects and initiatives that support the business’s priorities.

**About the role**
- Price and delivery negotiation including final bulk product costs, product lead times and the ongoing negotiation of cost
- Demonstrate strategic thinking to drive cost reduction within the product offer whilst maintaining product integrity: greige strategies, capacity planning, etc.
- Manage and drive communication around the critical path to ensure key dates are met between design, sales, technicians and the suppliers
- Take full ownership for successful realisation and commercial execution of core packages, including: propose and drive correct timelines, cross source vendors to meet business objectives, work collaboratively with planning to build seasonal volume forecasts and manage all fabric x-sourcing/development and sample x-sourcing/development
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and demonstrate commercial acumen and professionalism

**About you...**
- Knowledge of children's garment construction and têxtile development
- Prior experience and working knowledge of successful retailers
- Proven success in taking action to further develop owns skills and knowledge
- Self-starter, leave the role bigger than when you started it
- Minimum 5 years’ + experience in the Fashion Production space
- Full Australian working rights and must be Sydney based
