What to Expect
The Tesla Team is committed to providing the best customer experience throughout the delivery and ownership journey. The Product Specialist is expected to excite, educate, and engage customers when it is time to take delivery of their Tesla. This position is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the Tesla customer experience and has a critical impact on the company’s rapidly expanding sales operations.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers to the Tesla family by making their delivery day a delightful experience
- Educate customers on vehicle feature and function fundamentals
- Support the Store Leader with delivery operations, ensuring a superior customer experience
- Stage vehicles and host delivery appointments, including new owner orientations tailored to the individual customer’s needs and comfort level
- Demonstrate a mastery of all Tesla products and services, as well as local incentives for EV owners. Keep up with industry trends and best practices
- Partner with the vehicle readiness team to act as a final inspector for quality before the vehicle delivery. Communicate relevant feedback to program management and other relevant parties to drive departmental efficiency and company-wide improvements
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to seamlessly coordinate various aspects of delivery day, (such as Sales, Service, and Remarketing Teams)
- Leverage a customer centric skillset to understand and provide solutions for their concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Identify and overcome objections and obstacles, including charging and customer education
- Coordinate final receipt of delivery and in line with accounting’s revenue recognition standards
- Where applicable, ensure all locally relevant documents are accurately completed and signed in line with local government standards and revenue recognition standards
- Proactively and consistently update our CRM systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery information is available to management
- Contribute ideas toward improving the Tesla delivery experience, as well as back-end processes and procedures
- Support regional delivery customers via phone or other digital communications to ensure a supportive and customer centric remote delivery experience
- Support with additional retail related tasks as needed, including but not limited to test drives, events, and other retail activities
- Uphold a professional appearance at all times

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in a customer facing environment
- Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about the changes in the personal transportation industry
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrate a mastery of all Tesla products and services. Keep up with EV industry trends
- A strong work ethic and team-oriented personality is required. Our team members display creativity, passion and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology and market landscape
