**_If you are looking for a multi-faceted role that encompasses a variety of duties that change day to day, then this role is for you Our client is involved in industrial equipment and are looking for someone who is on the ball to join their close-knit team as a trades assistant._**

**About the Role**:

- Support with maintenance & repair of workplace and equipment
- Transport tools, materials, and work pieces to and from work sites
- Spray-painting of equipment
- Clean and prepare work surfaces and tools
- Recording of servicing information and other documentation relevant to the role
- Assist as directed by tradesperson, Supervisor or Branch Manager
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace and off site
- Occasional weekend work
- Other tasks as required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Current ‘C’ Class driver's license
- Current Forklift license
- MR license or willing to obtain
- Mechanically minded
- Strong initiative and willingness to work hard
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Welshpool, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Trades Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
