Your new role
Your new role as the front desk receptionist will have variety and a mix of reception and administration support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fielding calls and transferring enquiries to the appropriate staff
- Monthly updating of staff phone lists
- Meet and greet customers
- Distribute mail and booking daily pickups with couriers for interstate and international deliveries
- Scanning and filing of all invoices and documents
- Weekly stationary orders
- Printing labels for various products and samples
- Adhoc photocopying, binding, and laminating
- Updating excel databases as needed
- Weekly orders for staff amenities
- General office duties; preparing meeting rooms and other administration tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in Reception or Customer Service will be highly advantageous for this role, along with:
- Professional presentation, strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- High attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- A friendly and positive personality
