**The Department**

The purpose of the Legal Division is to provide proactive, enabling advice and first-rate service and support to contribute to SBS achieving its goals

**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to administer, maintain, and develop the SBS corporate records and information management solution, along with making key contributions towards the planning, coordination, development, and implementation of an information governance framework based on Australian Government requirements.

Reporting into the Head of Business Information Governance within our Business Information and Records Management (BIRM) team, this role is responsible for:

- Advanced technical administration, maintenance, and development of the MFCM solution to ensure it supports business operations and maintains compliance with key information governance related legislation, standards, and internal/external policies
- Leading technical upgrades and periodic maintenance processes and activities for MFCM front and back-end systems, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Researching, maintaining, supporting, and developing the use of native and 3rd party provided MFCM features and functionality
- Guiding internal business teams in the compliant use of office productivity suites and tools, with an emphasis on Microsoft 0365/SharePoint Online, to improve and streamline compliance in-support of operational requirements.
- Supporting the SBS Head of Business Information Governance with development and implementation of the SBS information governance framework
- Providing technical and administrative guidance, support and mentoring to records officers to assist with internal capability, knowledge, and skills development
- Assisting with the management and resolution of internal/external support requests for technical and administrative matters that are received by the BIRM team

**About you**
- Passionate and experienced records and information management practitioner with strong administrative, technical, and analytical skills who is keen to influence the direction and development of an emerging information governance framework and supporting technologies.
- Extensive prior experience and an advanced technical knowledge of administering and maintaining front and backend MFCM-based solutions is a key strength, as is a broad knowledge of Australian Government information governance requirements and supporting IT industry practices and technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and are a capable and engaging presenter who is proactive and enthusiastic about supporting employees at all levels of seniority and capability.
- Committed to sharing your technical and administrative expertise, either as part of consultative and advisory processes, or when conducting general and bespoke staff training initiatives.
- Enjoy working closely with others in your team and those external to it, and have an excellent ability to prioritise and coordinate shared responsibilities.
