**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

2 opportunities available - Permanent Governance Officer & 6-Month Senior Governance Officer. Reporting to the Coordinator Governance, you will work alongside a team of 4 highly driven team members. You will be expected to work with demonstrated efficiency to provide support in the coordination, maintenance and communication of robust governance frameworks and supporting policies.

**DUTIES.**
- Support the provision of accurate advice, support and information regarding governance related functions
- Assist in implementing and maintaining governance systems and projects
- Providing strong support for the policy framework
- Coordinate agendas, minutes, speakers and public notification requirements

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Local Council experience is high regarded
- Proficiency with InfoCouncil highly desired
- Experience attending Committee/Council meetings
- High level of maturity and communication skills
