About the opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated person to join the Outpatient Clinics (OPC) Reception Teams at WMH. This role is responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative duties involved in the Outpatient Clinics. This includes working with the electronic referral system Kyra, iPM and QFlow supporting the outpatient journey working closely with the nursing / midwifery and medical teams. You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

What you'll bring- Experience working in a Outpatient Department (desirable)- Understanding of referral management and experience with patient management systems or similar (essential)- Demonstrated administrative and Microsoft office skills- To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient centred care

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
