**About the Role**:
As a HR Advisor & TA Partner, you will provide comprehensive HR and recruitment advice and support across AkzoNobel’s Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HSE&S, Procurement and Supply Planning businesses in Australia. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent while aligning with our strategic HR initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition**:

- Manage the entire end to end recruitment process for all departments across Australia and New Zealand, by utilising direct sourcing, employee referrals, social media and other sources.
- Provide advice, training and support to hiring managers to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled in recruitment best practices and compliant with local laws.
- Support the recruitment of campus recruitment campaigns to attract talent to the various departments.
- Staying up to date with local market trends to implement practical recruitment strategies and promote and build the AkzoNobel’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Manage recruitment expenses within the allocated budget, optimising cost-effective methods such as job boards and social media.

**HR Advisory**:

- Operational HR Delivery: Align HR operations with business and functional agendas, offering high-quality HR advice and guidance.
- Employee Relations: Lead employee and industrial relations efforts, working with unions and employee councils as needed such as Enterprise Bargaining Agreement negotiations and workplace concerns.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Coach and support managers in performance and talent management processes, reward systems, and workforce planning.
- Provide daily HR support to managers, including recruitment, development, and restructuring guidance.
- Learning and Development: Identify learning needs and collaborate with regional partners to deliver training solutions.
- Talent Management: Work with managers to identify and develop local talent, ensuring robust succession planning.
- Employee Engagement: Foster employee engagement through communication and support for local events and initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and participate in internal and external audits.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Degree in Human Resources or related fields preferred.
- Proven experience in HR generalist roles and in-house recruitment, with a track record of successful recruitment campaigns.
- Proficiency with ATS, social media platforms, and HR analytics.
- Strong understanding of local Employment Law and experience with EBA interpretation and negotiation process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
