3 x Return to Work Coordinators | Sydney CBD area | 6 and 12 months assignments available | Hybrid working

**Your new company**
You will be working for a NSW Public Sector Organisation with offices located in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and more All three of these roles will be based in the CBD office with flexibility to work from home in a hybrid model. These roles are hands-on and you will need to be confident interacting with injured workers.

**Your new role**
- You will be a part of a large team across NSW who must contact all employees within 24 hrs of notification of a work related injury.
- Deal with both physical and psychological claims, including complex claims
- Attend Injury Management Panels with business units and case reviews with the nominated insurer and provide injury management advice and assist business units in improving the support for and experience of injured employees.
- Conduct case management processes as per SIRA Guidelines, internal policies and implement early intervention strategies.
- Interpret legislation, awards and conditions of employment, providing appropriate advice in relation to injury management.
- Deliver training/education programs to staff about injury management policies and procedures to improve understanding and engagement.
- Maintain accurate work capacity and file status records in line with legislation and policy and to build reporting and analysis data capacity on injury management.
- Organise and process injury management activities within required timeframes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (allied health) and/or demonstrated industry experience in the coordination of rehabilitation services.
- Return to Work Coordinator accreditation in accordance with SIRA requirements OR willingness to obtain.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act1998 and sound understanding of rehabilitation case management principles.
- Ability to maintain integrity, security and confidentiality of the injury management files.
