**About the Role**

Join a team that values the wellbeing of our people and our place. As our **Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W) Officer - Outdoor**, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Council’s health, safety, wellbeing, and child safety objectives. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our outdoor workforce and community.

**What You’ll Do**
- Partner with teams to implement safety, wellbeing, and child safety initiatives
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support injury management and return-to-work programs
- Assist in delivering wellbeing programs and child safety training
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance reporting

**What You’ll Bring**
- Diploma or Certificate in OHS, Wellbeing, or related field (or significant experience)
- Return-to-Work Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and risk management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in safety, wellbeing, or compliance roles (local government preferred)
