Our team in Transaction Banking works collaboratively with customers to deliver the best NAB solutions to meet their needs. They are experts in their field and utilise their knowledge in Transaction Banking to engage with bankers along with other specialists and referral partners to deliver training to businesses utilising NAB’s data and tools.

Our Specialised Banking Managers play a pivotal role within the Business and Private Everyday Banking division. You will be responsible for the proactive account management and support of a portfolio of transactional banking customers in the relevant customer segments. A key focus of this role is to uplift customer satisfaction across multiple aspects in transactional banking, which will require deep knowledge of the customer’s business and operational environment.

Customers will be at the heart of everything you do, being responsible for the delivery of quality and timely outcomes for customers through timely review of existing products and services by customers and engagement with business partners and operations teams across the organisation on behalf of the customer. You will be a key point of contact and escalation point for service related matters and provision training to customers in the usage of NAB e-channels and transactional products.

**Some key responsibilities will include, but not limited to**
- Proactively identify of cross sell opportunities, and selling of non-complex solutions in the portfolio
- Support Specialised Banking Managers in the proactive account management of a portfolio of transactional banking customers
- Building trusted customer relationships and promoting customer advocacy and retention
- Work with SBMS to execute a retention strategy relevant to industry (or state or country, segment dependent) and portfolio strategy
- Contribute insights to segment strategies and provide input to product development and strategy
- Advisory function - understand customer analytics and translate to appropriate recommendations for customers
- Deliver a great customer experience and grow customer advocacy

**What you will bring to this role**

You are an experienced Business Banking Manager with working knowledge of Transaction Banking coupled with proven experience in acquiring new business while retaining our valued customers. Your ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders along with your ability to work with complexity whilst balancing conflicting priorities will ensure your success in this role. You are skilled at driving efficiencies and effectiveness across the team, business partners and overall value chain by modelling NAB’s values and behaviours.

- Transactional Banking and/or Business Banking experience essential
- Government & Education (GEC), CRE (Commercial Real Estate) and Corporate Agri experience preferred however not essential
- A willingness and drive to engage in state and national projects and initiatives
- Account Management expertise
- A customer centric approach
