What's the role?
Join the Specialised Business Services (SBS) team, where you'll manage a portfolio of high-value and complex agribusiness customers across Westpac's brands including St. George, BankSA, and Bank of Melbourne.
This role focuses on early engagement and tailored restructuring strategies to support customers experiencing financial stress. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to mitigate risk, retain customers, and deliver sustainable outcomes for both the customer and the bank.
This is a Permanent fulltime role, with a preference for Brisbane with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
What do I need?
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Extensive agribusiness experience and credit assessment capability
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with excellent business acumen
- Proven ability to engage directly with customers and external advisors (e.g. insolvency firms, lawyers)
- Deep understanding of loan structures, documentation, and security
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset
- A strong grasp of the capital impact of stressed/impaired exposures and how to balance customer and bank outcomes
