**About the role**

The Customer Success division is a huge part of Tyro’s growth and success and responsible for managing a portfolio of Retail, Hospitality, Services and Corporate customers who are medium and above in size. We actively maintain a strong culture that allows us to be more flexible and offer our customers a higher level of service than other banks. Reporting to the National Manager, you will be a vital member of the Account Management team.
- We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Banking Associate specializing in business loans.
- As a Junior Lender, you will play a crucial part in supporting our lending operations, focusing on the diverse needs of our business clients.
- This newly created role will ensure that Tyro is providing a superior service to all our existing customers.

**What you'll do**:

- Uphold and contribute to Tyro’s strong risk culture by complying with our policies, completing mandatory training and identifying and managing risks within your day-to-day work
- Engage our customers via various proactive outbound calling to assist with banking enquiries and lending eligibility. Raising aware of Tyro’s banking solutions in every interaction.
- Assist with Banking enquiries and advise on process with clients interested in banking, accounts, and lending.
- Cross-sale and refer EFTPOS opportunities to the sales & account management team.
- Build strong relationships with business clients, creating advocates and helping repeat borrowers.
- Working closely with risk and product to ensure we meet our customer’s needs.
- Assist in the vetting of applicants, conducting preliminary reviews of financial documents and credit history, maintain a healthy Loan portfolio
- Ad hoc duties to assist with customer enquiries, initiatives, projects, campaigns

**What you'll bring**:

- Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships both with customers and internal stakeholders
- Have a keen attention to detail and follow-up
- Have excellent time management
- able to use your initiative for process improvements and problem solving
- Understanding of financial statements and credit analysis desirable but not essential.
