**Employment Type -** Ongoing, Full Time
**Salary -** $147,222 pa + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading
**Your Role**
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Manager to work at our Facilities Maintenance Business Unit at the Long Bay Correctional Complex.
**What You’ll Do**
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled staff and inmates, while collaborating with key business partners and stakeholders to deliver industry compliant, and customer focused facilities maintenance services.
**Skills & Experience You’ll Need**
To be successful in this role you will need relevant management experience in a building / construction, technical / manufacturing, or facilities maintenance environment, with the ability to plan and implement facility maintenance programs, budgets, strategy, and goals set by upper management.
Additionally, you will need relevant experience and capability in a range of management systems including; quality management, WHS & risk management, business management and business software e.g., Pronto, or similar enterprise business management reporting system, highly desirable.
As part of this role, you will need to maintain strong relationships between senior managers across Department of Communities & Justice, Corrective Services NSW, and external stakeholders.
**The role requires**:
- Leadership and direction to support and coordinate the development of inmate vocational employment programs.
- Strong time management and business computer skills.
- Resilience working in a high-pressure environment, managing operations and staff, with a proven capacity to deliver key business objectives and targets within set timeframes.
- Contemporary management experience in construction, building, technical manufacturing or facilities maintenance environment and the ability to plan and implement vision and goals within budgets, set by upper management.
- Relevant experience and capability in quality management systems, WHS and risk management, and business management systems and software e.g., (Pronto, or similar enterprise business management system is highly desirable).
- Able to work as part of a management team in a collaborative manner.

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications in: construction, building or facility maintenance related trade. Management Qualification is highly desirable.
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
