You will gain hands on exposure to multiple M&A's within the next 12 months.
Job Description
- Manage employee and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Provide expert advice and support to management on ER/IR best practices and strategies.
- Develop and implement workplace agreements and negotiate with unions when required.
- Conduct investigations and resolve workplace disputes in a fair and timely manner.
- Deliver training and guidance to leaders on ER/IR processes and obligations.
- Monitor changes in industrial relations laws and adapt company policies accordingly.
- Prepare reports and documentation relating to ER/IR activities and outcomes.
- Contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
The Successful Applicant
A successful ER/IR Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of Australian industrial relations laws and frameworks.
- Previous experience in the industrial type sector or a comparable environment (blue collar).
- Proven ability to manage complex workplace investigations and disputes.
- Experience in developing and implementing workplace agreements.
