A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Industry Governance Manager, reporting to the Executive Manager, Industry Executive Governance, where you will join the Business Operations & Executive Governance team, a key pillar within the Operations business unit. This function works across nbn and collaborates with senior internal and Delivery Partners executives to continuously improve delivery performance and strategic relationships.

A bit about the role

This role is positioned within the function that is responsible for ensuring effective execution of Operations Strategy supporting the Chief Operations Officer and the Senior Leadership team. The function enables Operations with impactful executive business governance using actionable insights for effective and reliable decision-making.

As the Industry Governance Manager, you will be a champion of excellence in industry governance, reporting practices, and relationship insights. You will play a key role in evolving the industry governance approach and framework with nbn’s Delivery Partners to meet the changing needs of nbn and drive continuous improvement.

Critical to the role is the effective management of complex stakeholder groups to align decision-making and achieve business outcomes with structure and process. As a central point of contact for internal and external governance stakeholders, the Industry Governance Manager is accountable for leading internal alignment and interlock sessions, managing stakeholder briefings and providing industry insights.

A bit about you

You are creative, have good problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and have the ability to manage and compile complex information and data, drawing on insights to prepare briefings and advice. A drive for continuous improvement and developing an enterprise mindset is essential.
