
Office Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager or Junior accountant to join their construction company due to growth.
**Location**: Easter Suburbs of Melbourne
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of the office, with a focus on ensuring daily operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the implementation of safety protocols, managing the administrative tasks, basic accounting, onboarding new employees and assisting accounts payable on Zero. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary.
**Responsibilities for the role**:
- Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, training and necessary paperwork.
- Handle basic accounting tasks, such as maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable.
- Collaborate with various departments to support their administrative needs, including scheduling, travel arrangements and meeting coordination.
- Handle general office tasks, including filing and document management.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with Zero for accounting and Damstra or similar safety management systems would be desirable.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
