The Manufacturing Engineering Support Technician supports the Manufacturing Engineering Technicians Manager and 2IC to action the engineering plan. With a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, the Manufacturing Engineering Technician will assist to drive and implement operational excellence through the execution of the engineering plan.

**To be successful in these roles, you will possess the following attributes**:

- Strong technical understanding of maintenance and engineering principles, with relevant tertiary education and/or experience
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is not essential, but would be highly regarded
- A strong work ethic, reliable, punctual and motivated
- Ability to work as part of a team, but be able to work autonomously when required
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks
- A high level of workmanship and attention to detail
- Willingness to strictly adhere to the required animal welfare guidelines and regulations
- Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, bio-security and operational requirements
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values
- You are physically fit and can perform a range of activities including climbing ladders and steps, moving heavy objects using correct lifting and manual handling techniques and tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, balancing and reaching overhead

You may be required to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands

**You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at home, and you must not regularly come into contact with birds, pigs or poultry in order to work at McLean Farms**
