About The Role
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the coordination and accurate upkeep of the shipping schedule.
- Liaise with mine site personnel, customers and third-party providers regarding coal availability, shipment timing, and laycan / vessel nominations.
- Attend meetings, prepare relevant information, and effectively present findings.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Logistics team, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork to achieve common goals.
- Assist with quality management by monitoring and resolving coal quality issues as well as vessel certification to ensure that contract specifications are delivered to our customers
What You’ll Bring
- Experience within the coal industry or related sectors.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and business drivers.
- The ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships internally and externally.
- An understanding of business operations and the ability to make sound business decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in PowerBI is highly desirable.
