**The position**

This role will manage the operations of the FedEx Erskine Park depot and will be based at FedEx Erskine Park depot.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manager, Operations to lead the bulk operations at the Erskine Park depot. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of the bulk fleet and ensuring efficient workflow processes in distribution of freight whilst providing high levels of service to all company clients.

**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure efficient and effective distribution of freight to bulk fleets to allow delivery within the scheduled delivery timeframes
- Manage relationship between staff, management and customers that encourages involvement in recognising and valuing contributions
- Motivate and manage team performance whilst increasing their awareness of company processes and procedures
- Manage productivity levels and targets
- Monitor planned & unplanned leave to ensure the fleet can meet delivery and pick up standards
- Ensure depot scanning disciplines are maintained & undeliverable freight is actioned timely manner

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Previous experience in managing a team within a high-volume environment
- Five years’ experience within the transport industry
- Working knowledge of the Dangerous Goods code
- Proven ability to delegate and prioritise tasks
