The Opportunity

Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for driving growth? As our Business Development Manager – SME Clients, you'll be at the heart of our expansion strategy, working with small to medium businesses to deliver tailored waste management solutions that make a difference.

This role is about more than hitting targets – it's about partnering with clients, understanding their challenges, and creating solutions that support both their operations and the environment.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across the SME market.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare engaging sales presentations and reports to showcase performance and growth opportunities.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Business Development role within the Waste Industry or B2B sales environment is desirable.
  • Strong communicator and have the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and you're driven to achieve your set targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop actionable plans.
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience with a Sales CRM is desirable.
  • Valid Driver's License (Unrestricted).
