**About the role**:
This role will be a part of the Erskine Park Operations Department Leadership team reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. You will oversee a multi-faceted logistics hub for a luxury fashion client to provide excellent service while also delivering achieve strong business P&L objectives and deliver expected performance financially and service-wise results.
Operations are 24/5, three shift operation plus Saturday ½ day. You will have a total team of 40-70 staff including 3 Shift Supervisors and 7 team leaders operating a fast paced and dynamic pick / pack operation using RF and robotics (AMR).
**What you will be doing**:
- Warehouse operations, H&S and performance
- Ensure on-time infrastructure in place and SOP compliance to achieve quality and performance targets
- Introduce best practices to ensure optimised operations are delivered under the highest service quality
- Ensure all orders are dispatched on time and in full each day
- Ensure all inbound flows are processed within KPI
- Reporting KPI to management
- Ensure that client’s routine reports with monthly reports and internal scorecard are prepared in a timely and accurate manner
- Staff training, development & change management
- QHSE program ownership regarding your team and activities
- Develop creative solutions to both internal & external operational challenges
- Implement additional functions as mandated by management
- Operate customer relationship
- Establish, maintain and develop a strong relationship with client
- Act as the clients’ “center of gravity” on implementations and issue resolution
- Plan & attend regular client meetings to discuss processes, issues, mitigations & development opportunities
- Cost control & Personnel Resource Management
- Profit and loss responsibility
- Customer billing
**Requirements**:
Essential:
- Leading & managing teams that emphasise safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement with 5S, Lean management and relevant components
- Managing 3PL logístical operation
- P&L knowledge
- Prior experience managing Australian and international customer contracts and service expectations
- Local pallet and parcel freight distribution experience
- Experience with WMS systems (ideally Manhattan)
Desirable:
- Prior experience managing B2C & Ecommerce logístical operation will be an advantage
