**The Team and the Role**
The Customer, Data and Insights Division use data, insights and evidence to support projects across to improve government service delivery and decision making. The team includes NSW Data Analytics Centre (DAC), NSW Behavioural Insights Unit (BIU), Customer Insights and Customer Strategy and Delivery. As the Executive Support Officer, you will support the financial management and procurement activities of the division.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Have strong communication, collaboration and coordination skills, with demonstrated experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent M365, organisational and administrative skills, specifically intermediate to advanced excel skills, preferably with prior experience in managing expense and revenue forecasting. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Fostering a collaborative working relationship with colleagues and specifically the DCS Finance team to ensure business needs are met.
- Experience in supporting a busy executive.
- Experience in managing or participating in projects on a range of administrative issues such as procurement, financial reporting, staff, establishment, KPI reporting and ministerial briefs.
- Experience in drafting and preparing quality correspondence, briefing notes and presentations.
- Have proven high level of attention to detail and the ability to develop, maintain and update administrative and financial management practices, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

**Your key responsibilities will include**
- Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of teams’ time
- Manage and maintain the local multi-faceted financial forecasting information to provide accurate information to the Finance team for loading into the Financial Management system.
- Manage the raising of accounts receivable invoices based on information provided by your colleagues across the Division.
- Ensure the raising of purchase orders and payment of invoices align with approved budgets
- With the support of team members, manage variations to the Establishment and Workforce Plan to ensure accurate organisational and financial reporting
- Support the preparation of presentations and briefing notes to help achieve business goals.
- Maintain and update financial management and administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
