The role of Maintenance Officer is to maintain the buildings and grounds for our Belrose site. The position reports to the Facilities Manager.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain preventative maintenance contracts
- Maintenance of grounds
- Inspections and maintenance of external and internal areas, ensuring they are kept in a safe condition
- Carrying out inspections and maintenance including small plumbing, painting and carpentry
- Liaising with external contractors - Air Conditioning, Plumbers, Electricians, Builders, Fire Contractors etc
- Assist with site/project management for facilities jobs
- Collection/preparation of OHSE information for facilities jobs, eg SWMS
- Ensuring contractor inductions and documentation is up to date in Induction System
- Testing/tagging of electrical equipment

**About You**
- Previous maintenance experience on a large commercial site (desirable)
- Experience and knowledge of current work health and safety requirements and legislation
- Trade skills with experience with hand tools and small-scale plumbing, painting, electricals and carpentry
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Initiative, time and task management

This position will require a hands-on, practical approach and involve physical work, including outdoor work and various maintenance tasks. An attractive salary package is on offer and the chance to work in a progressive and innovative environment with lots of variety.
