**About the team**
Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

**About the role**
You will work with the wider state-based team on the delivery and supporting in the growth of the liquor property network. This role will see you support the retail leasing managers and provide the opportunity to genuinely develop your skills in the retail leasing areas here at Coles. This role will see you support new stores, store extensions, lease renewals and the management of the existing property portfolio.

Other ways you can make an impact include:

- Undertake feasibility analysis and negotiate leases for new stores
- Model freehold and leasehold acquisitions and opportunities
- Assist in the development and evolving property strategy for the existing network and entering new markets
- Preparation and partnership with senior managers in board submissions and reports
- Dedicated point of contact for specific property matters for the Coles Retail Liquor Group

**About you and your skills**
Bring your previous retail leasing experience and understanding into this new role. You will be involved in lease negotiations and manage leasing matters with a focus on the NSW region. A development opportunity to engage with senior leaders here at Coles Group.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

- Strategic and lateral thinking to solve problems, identify solutions and make appropriate recommendations
- Previous working knowledge of property and property related terms
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with key customers and external parties
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Developed organisational and planning skills
- Ability to produce professional PowerPoint presentations and Publishing knowledge
