Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Strategic Change Implementation Manager on a contract for 12 months.
**Position Overview**
**About the Role**
The EL1 Strategic Change Implementation Manager is accountable under direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity that has strategic, political and operational significance.
The position will be responsible for analysis and insight development and translating strategy development, policies, and priorities for operational implementation. The position will have responsibility to actively assess, design and deploy transformational change management activities across initiatives of significant complexity. Additionally, the role is responsible for supporting and managing key internal stakeholder relationships to effectively embed change across the Agency. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the project team.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for change design and implementation of projects.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating project and change management requirements in accordance with the Project Delivery Framework and Change Management Framework.
- Creating materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the Agency.
- Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues.
- Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment to enable successful implementation.
- Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Influencing and advising project sponsors on how to effectively manage and implement change
**Desirable Experience**:
- 2-6 years experience in transformation, design, change management and project management
- Change and/or Project Management qualifications
- Demonstrated success delivering against key performance indicators and delivering results within agreed timeframed
- Experience working in complex cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success in building momentum for and delivery of change activity
- Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation
- Willing to get your hands dirty where required
- Experience of living with disability
