Sharp and Carter are delighted to be partnering with Burra Foods in their search for a Supply Chain Manager.
For over 30 years Burra Foods has represented quality and innovation in the global dairy market, specialising in the manufacture of high-end specialised dairy ingredients.

With a team based in Gippsland and Melbourne, and a global sales force with established offices in both Japan and China, Burra Foods is known worldwide as a preferred supplier to manufacturers, both large and small.
With continued growth on the horizon into local and international markets, along with investment into new assets, the company is excited to drive a best in class Operation and now seeks a motivated, down to earth and CI focused Supply Chain Manager to join the team.
This role will see you manage a team of 5-7 employees and deliver all necessary activities including planning and scheduling, procurement and raw material purchases, operational logistics, export freight, 3PL warehouses and the overseeing of associated information technology systems. A strong focus on continuous improvement to deliver supply chain business initiatives and achieve ‘best cost’ whilst supporting current and future business growth is essential.
To be successful within this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in leading, managing and delivering supply chain operations (core focus on 3PL/Warehousing) within a food business, inclusive of ambient and chilled goods for domestic and export.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating, implementing and managing contracts and relationships with vendors and 3rd party providers including 3PLs, and transport providers.
- Technologically capable, with logistics and/or supply chain experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system.
- Proven senior leadership experience with the ability to think strategically and deliver commitments through motivating and leading teams.
Desirable
- Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business management.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or formal qualification in Supply Chain Management related field or the equivalent level of learning through job experience.
