Melbourne, Australia Yo-Chi Full time

Oversee procurement for a rapidly growing Australian brand
- Enjoy flexible, work-from-home arrangements with no head office
- Opportunity for career growth in a dynamic, supportive team

**Supply Chain Manager (Melbourne based)**

Join one of Australia’s fastest-growing brands in this role overseeing the procurement and ongoing management of our amazing products.

Reporting to the GM Operations, Yo-Chi offers genuine work-from-home flexibility (we don’t have a head office) as part of our Support Team with 30+ people spread across the country.

**About the company**:
Yo-Chi was born from an idea to bring together delicious frozen yogurt and toppings, with an infinite flow of good energy, in a space where people of all ages feel equally welcome. Yo-Chi kick-started Melbourne’s self-serve frozen yogurt scene with the opening of the first venue in Balaclava in September 2012.

As of today, we have 30 venues with plans to double the size of the business over the next 2 years. We’re proud to be a family-owned Australian business, and chi remains at the heart of everything we do.

**About the role**:
The Supply Chain Manager’s primary role is to ensure a consistent supply of high quality products into our Yo-Chi venues, while driving continual improvements in cost of goods. They will work collaboratively with our Operations and Marketing teams on new product development, helping to source ingredients which continue to maximise the Yo-Chi experience for our customers.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Responding to briefs from the Product Development team to source new ingredients or supplies as required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Initiating and participating in the prequalification and approval of new suppliers, and managing supplier negotiations.
- Co-ordinating with relevant freight forwarders for timely shipments.
- Developing monthly reports to provide visibility on all aspects of supply chain to respective project teams and the leadership team.
- Managing and mitigating commercial issues with suppliers.
- Working alongside the Operations and Finance teams on the implementation of efficiency projects, including inventory management systems.
- Identifying and reporting on procurement cost saving initiatives to drive overall improvements in COGS.
- QSR, food retail or hospitality experience in a supply chain role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain management
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Proven experience managing purchasing, inventory, scheduling and compliance
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including strong use of analytical and reporting tools
- Experience dealing with domestic and international suppliers

Our people are our greatest assets. We encourage a healthy lifework life balance with flexibility and career progression. As we continue to grow, so do you and your opportunities to progress as well.

We encourage all applicants to check out our website, Instagram or head into a venue to get a feel for who we are.
