**Responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and maintain infrastructure management systems, specifically Unispace, and provide detailed system support and ongoing operational management of Infrastructure systems. Development activities, where required, will be predominantly using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Reactor JS, Node JS, Java Spring, Drupal and Web services.
- Interpreting system related work requests and prioritising against known works
- Serving as the initial point of contact regarding technical systems matters including troubleshooting problems that occur in the infrastructure management systems software and hardware
- Install patches, fixes, upgrades and customisations
- Proactively assist with maintaining the availability and performance of the environments
- Liaise closely with relevant internal staff and external organisations to assist with resolving complex technical problems
- Ensure that a high standard of customer service is delivered to staff and students
- Resolve customer incidents and maintain communication with key stakeholders
- Escalate problems where appropriate and maintain ownership of issues
- Provide technical support to business owners and end-users to assist them to determine their information and system requirements

**Qualifications**:
Diploma or Higher qualification or Industry certification in Programming or related discipline or equivalent experience

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in JavaScript, Node JS, Reactor JS or similar development frameworks
- Experience with system development methodologies and technologies
- Demonstrated experience with supporting complex systems development and integration
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to short deadlines and have high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Be productive and manage their time efficiently according to deadlines.
- Be self-motivated and seek new work when their current task is complete or on hold.
- Be a team player and actively collaborate and share information with other team members.
- Communicate well, in written or oral form, with clients and colleagues using a professional and clear manner and language appropriate to the audience.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to cope with complexity.
