Now, we’re looking for a General Manager - Core Technology to lead the way.

The Role You Could Play:
You’ll take responsibility for the tech that underpins our growth—ensuring it’s seamless, secure, scalable and anything but boring. And just as importantly, you’ll lead and grow a high-performing team who thrive in fast-paced, purpose-fueled environments.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the strategy, operations and transformation of MECCA’s core technology environment—from service management and infrastructure, to ERP, retail systems, and beyond.
- Deliver major transformation projects, including the integration of our brand-new, fully automated Distribution Centre.
- Partner closely with teams across product, brand, retail, finance and supply chain to turn business ambition into tech reality.
- Own the end-to-end performance of MECCA’s enterprise platforms: POS, finance, HR, workforce, SC, and more.
- Champion cyber security strategy, ensuring resilience, compliance and protection across every touchpoint.
- Shape and manage multi-million dollar budgets with an eye on scalability, reliability and cost effectiveness.
- Lead, inspire and grow a passionate team across cyber, service desk, infrastructure, and internal systems—coaching them toward high performance and high impact.

What You Will Bring:

- A strategic, people-first tech leader with 10+ years’ experience, including 5+ in senior leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in enterprise platforms, automation, cloud, ERP and Supply Chain systems (retail and high-growth experience is a huge plus).
- Someone who brings clarity to complexity and leads transformation with empathy—not a big stick.
- Experience operating in lean, cost-aware environments without sacrificing innovation.
- Proven success in building and scaling high-performance teams that deliver with pace and purpose.
- A natural collaborator who works cross-functionally, thinks commercially, and leads with heart.
