About the Role

Lead the national Gaming strategy and performance across ALH Hotels.**:

As **General Manager - Gaming**, you’ll take charge of shaping the future of gaming within our venues. Reporting to the MD Hotels, you’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver a compelling and sustainable gaming offer that resonates with our guests, drives commercial outcomes, and supports a responsible and inclusive approach.

This is a **permanent opportunity**, with a flexible location across the east coast.

**Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role**:

- Define and deliver ALH’s Gaming Strategy - including digital, in-venue, and social gaming innovation
- Lead national gaming operations and performance, including game selection, machine procurement, and strategic placement
- Partner with our Venue teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Partner with internal teams including Regulatory & Financial Crime, Technology, Commercial, Compliance, and Legal to align gaming operations with wider hotel strategy
- Oversee commercial outcomes and full P&L for the Gaming business
- Lead a talented team, building a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and accountability
- Leverage insights and data to drive category performance and decision-making

What do we need from you

**Now let’s talk about you**:
You’re a strategic and experienced leader in the gaming industry with a track record of success. You will bring:

- Extensive experience leading Gaming functions across multi-site operations
- Deep understanding of the gambling market and game mechanics
- Proven leadership and coaching capability, driving performance in complex, changing environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with P&L accountability
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including managing cross-functional stakeholders
- Passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Current Responsible Service of Liquor and Gaming competency card, relevant to the state you live in
- Experience leading transformation and change initiatives
