Position Description (ANZSCO — Dentist)
You'll deliver high-quality, patient-centred dental care, including:
- Comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Restorative dentistry (direct/indirect), crown & bridge
- Endodontics (single and multi-root)
- Periodontal assessment and non-surgical management
- Simple extractions and minor oral surgery (as appropriate)
- Preventive care, patient education, and long-term maintenance plans
- Radiographic interpretation (intra-oral/OPG) and clinical record-keeping
- Strict adherence to infection prevention & control protocols
- Collaboration with our clinical and front-of-house team to deliver an awesome patient experience
What we're looking for (Skills & Experience)
- ~3+ years' experience in the dental industry (private practice preferred)
- Comfortable and efficient with crowns and root canal treatments
- Solid hands across: restorative, fixed pros, perio, simple surgicals, and diagnostics
- Strong communication with a calm, reassuring chair-side manner
- Growth mindset — keen to learn, upskill, and pursue CPD
- Excellent time management and accurate clinical notes
Must-haves
- Current (or eligible) AHPRA registrationas a Dentist
- Valid Australian working rights
- Up-to-date radiation licences/compliance as required in Victoria
- Commitment to infection control and clinical governance standards
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with digital workflows (scanners/CAD-CAM)
- Confidence with multi-disciplinary treatment planning
- Familiarity with common practice management software
