**Clinical Lead Social Worker - Grade 4**

**Royal Melbourne Hospital**
- General medicine, Sub-Acute and Complex Care.
- An exciting leadership role encompassing acute general medicine and sub-acute services at RMH.

**Your New Role**:

- Lead a culture of excellence in patient care in the expanded general medicine team, the sub-acute wards (GEM and/or inpatient rehabilitation), and across the social work department.
- Provide clinical leadership in social work and complex care.
- Utilise specialised skills and knowledge in relation to patient care, staff development, and stakeholder management.
- Actively lead and participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research
- You will be well supported by the Social Work Leaders (Grades 3 and 4), Social Work and Diversity Manager, and the Social Work team.

**About You**:

- You are a qualified Social Worker, (eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers) with relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards its imminent completion - minimum of master’s degree).
- You have demonstrated hospital experience with exceptional communication skills and experience in leading effective working relationships within interdisciplinary teams
- You have strong supervisory skills and a passion for fostering staff development
- You have an understanding of wider organisational and public health policy influences on public hospital services
- You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
