**Social Worker Grade One - Mental Health**
**Multiple positions available**
**Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services (RMH-MHS)**
**Allied Health Graduate Program**
- Full Time social work position in our two-year allied health graduate program
- A graded and supported introduction to mental health social work
- Working with consumers and families impacted by mental illness using a strengths-based, recovery focused model of care
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team as well as a large and supportive community of mental health social workers
- Thorough orientation and monthly education days
- Regular clinical supervision and monthly facilitated peer support sessions with fellow graduates
- Strong focus on self-care and wellbeing

- Classifications for this position will range from Social Worker Grade 1 Year 1 - Year 4 YC35 - YC38, pay increment is based on qualification held and length of experience as a qualified social worker
- New graduates and those with less than two years’ experience as a qualified social worker can apply
- Commencing no later than Monday January 27 2025

**Your success in this role, will be in your ability to**
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in and passion for a career in public mental health
- Partner with service users in their recovery journey
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Utilise well-developed interpersonal skills and clear communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and with a variety of key stakeholders
- Use critical reflection in supervision
**Your Contribution**
- An approved degree from a recognised School of Social Work or other qualifications approved for eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Applications will be considered from those expecting to receive their qualification prior to January 2025
- You are a recent Social Work graduate or early career social worker with less than two years’ as a qualified social worker
- A full driver’s licence
