Upper Coomera, Australia Child Care Centre Full time

Lead the development, documentation and implementation of the educational program based on sound knowledge and understanding of the approved learning frameworks in order to stimulate and enhance children’s learning and development.
- Demonstrate and guide written documentation, including the planning cycle, to support team and individual reflective practice

Successfully complete CLASS training and maintain annual certification
- Embed CLASS as a tool for continuous improvement, including conducting observations across the service and documenting goals in accordance with the agreed timeframes
- Support educators to achieve goals identified through CLASS observation process
- Coach and mentor educators to build and maintain strong relationships with children that are respectful and responsive to individual needs and with families that are collaborative, supportive and engaging
- Coach and mentor educators to support children to be active participants in their own learning through an integrated teaching and learning approach
- Deliver a program that reflects the natural environment and promotes sustainability
- Maintain knowledge of learning styles so that approaches can be differentiated to meet complex needs of children and educators from a range of backgrounds and abilities
- Work with the Pedagogical Leader to audit educational programs and practice on a quarterly basis, in accordance with the Pedagogy Framework.
- Lead community connections across all programs
- Support networking and transition activities with local schools and community programs
- Work within the program as required; to observe and provide feedback on practice, role model quality practice and to support operational requirements. Compliance:

- Adhere to the National Quality Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012 and the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, with a particular focus on educational program and practice
- Understand and adhere to organisational policies, procedures and practices Gowrie Victoria 2
- Ensure children’s health and safety is always maintained
- Ensure that the physical environment is suitable and promotes children’s learning

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.67 - $40.06 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
