**About the role**

As the O**rganisational Culture Specialist**you will play a key role in supporting V/Line’s commitment to building a highly constructive, positive and effective culture to deliver sustainable operational performance.

As the operational group of the Office of the CEO, the role of the **Corporate Affairs**is to protect and promote V/Line’s reputation by providing trusted strategic and tactical advice to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, proactively promoting and supporting V/Line’s groups in recognising and managing issues that may impact our brand and reputation and influencing government policy and initiatives as they relate to V/Line.

These objectives are achieved through the **Corporate Affairs**team being the organisation’s central point for government and stakeholder relations, media and issues management, internal and external corporate communications, policy coordination, culture and engagement and community relations and partnerships.

The **Organisational Culture Specialist** will lead activities to assess and enhance workplace culture, focusing on mental wellbeing, resilience and psychological health and safety.

This role involves analysing data from the employee engagement survey and developing strategies for improving psychosocial safety and employee experience.

As well as performing duties specified in this position description, the role will also be required to perform duties from time to time as directed by management.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Conduct regular assessments of workplace culture, analysing data from the employee engagement survey, and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Support functional groups with the implementation of targeted action plans.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement culture enhancement initiatives, including workshops and team-building activities.
- Gather feedback from employees regarding the cultural initiatives and utilise these insights to refine and adapt programs to meet evolving needs.
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to disseminate information regarding mental health resources, best practices, and program updates.
- Work in partnership with group leaders, and internal teams, including the People Business Partnering and Capability teams, to align culture initiatives and ensure a consistent and inclusive workplace culture across the organisation.
- Manage employee engagement surveys and analyse results to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed.
- Develop and implement strategies based on survey insights to improve workplace morale.
- Advocate for initiatives that enhance psychosocial safety and resilience in the workplace.
- Develop and implement programs to support positive behaviour at work, including targeted approaches.
- Facilitate training programs to support workplace culture and mental health.

**About you**

As the **Organisational Culture Specialist**, you will report directly to the **Head of Workplace Culture & Resilience.**

The **Organisational Culture Specialist** plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the workplace culture through dedicated assessments and effective implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at promoting mental wellbeing and resilience among employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a related field desirable. Certification in workplace culture or mental health and wellbeing strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in roles focused on leading and delivering employee engagement, organisational culture, or mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Strong project management experience, including consulting and influencing key stakeholders, strategic planning and performance monitoring to ensure successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present the data to cater to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication abilities, facilitation experience, and a talent for engaging diverse employee groups.
